buses_in_a_line-up_thumbSafe, reliable transportation is the primary mission of the Transportation Department. Specially equipped vehicles travel over 4,000 miles a day providing over 1,700 passenger trips! All of our drivers and monitors have had First Aid and CPR training.

Should transportation be delayed or suspended, the Transportation Services Department will utilize an automated phone calling system to alert families.

Bus Riding Rules
  • Please follow the bus driver’s instructions.
  • Please keep your property to yourself.

  • Please sit with your back against the seat.

  • Please remain in your seat while on the bus and until the bus stops at your destination.

  • Remember to never bend down near or under the bus.

Bus Stop Rules
  • Passengers should be at their designated bus stop before their scheduled pick-up times and ready to board the bus.

  • Passengers crossing the street to get on or off the bus should do so in front of the bus.

  • When a passenger is in a wheelchair, they must be secured with an automobile-style seatbelt attached to the chair and have foot rests. The parent, guardian, or caretaker will open the lift door and secure it. The wheelchair will be backed onto the lift and both brakes locked. The helper will then stand to the side of the lift and hold onto the wheelchair while the lift is in motion.
