1.   The Board’s draft 2020 Action Plan is available for download

The draft Action Plan for the coming year, identifying goals and priorities, will be going to the Board for approval at the November 25th meeting. You can download the draft plan by clicking here.  Comments may be addressed to the Office of the Superintendent, 1154 Larc Lane, Toledo, OH 43614.

 Looking  for  provider?  The  Lucas  County  Board  of  DD  has  an  online  resource  for  you.  Check  out  this  link http://lucascountyddproviders.org/   The website is designed to help individuals, families, guardians and county boards search for providers. A variety of waiver and supported living providers can be found, such as transportation, homemaker personal care and day services.

3.  You can receive free text message alerts from the Board of DD

5.    Board of DD 2020 calendars are available now

The 2020 Lucas County Board of DD calendars are available now at all Board facilities.  The calendar has the dates of major events through the year, including dinner-dances, Special Olympics tournaments, and holidays when Board of DD facilities will be closed. There is also a handy reference to the Bill of Rights for Persons with Developmental Disabilities.

The Special Olympics athlete leaders collectingh toys for TV 13abc’s Hope for the Holidays.  Collections boxes have been placed in each of the Board facilities for donations of new unwrapped toys. Follow this link for more information
