3. Be the best advocate for your child

4. Faith McCreary honored with Spirit of Sunshine Award
Sunshine Communities recognizes partners and staff annually with the Spirit of Sunshine Award for those who embrace the mission of Sunshine, living it to the fullest in their day-to-day efforts. On May 24th, Sunshine Communities recognized Faith McCreary, Lucas County Board and EaRned Success Employer Resource Network Success Coach. Sunshine has been a part of this project since it was formed in Summer 2016.
In its citation, Sunshine commented:
“In the summer of 2016, Sunshine Communities took a leap of faith and begun a journey that would turn out to be one of the greatest decisions we could have made. This journey has helped countless staff finding their way in life — improving their own lives, their families’ lives, and the lives of those we support. Faith was born for this role. She not only is smart and savvy, she is kind and approachable — the characteristics needed to help people tackle the obstacles of life so they can be successful in their jobs. Warm, welcoming and strong, Faith is able to help not only our employees, but also their families. In doing so, she improves our entire community — one person, one life, at a time..”
