The Lucas County Board of Developmental Disabilities has promoted Lori Mariucci, its Director of Human Resources, to the position of Assistant Superintendent. In that position, she has been designated by the Board to succeed Deb Yenrick as Superintendent when Ms. Yenrick retires in 2018.
“I am excited to assume my new duties,” said Ms. Mariucci. “I realize this is an awesome responsibility because the mission of the Board of DD is to improve the safety and quality of life of the most vulnerable individuals in our community.”
Ms. Mariucci joined the Board as Human Resources Director in 2013. Her prior experience in human resources includes employment with Owens-Illinois and Ford Motor Company. She holds an MBA from the University of Findlay.
Ms. Mariucci lives in Sylvania with her husband and daughter.
Deb Yenrick became Superintendent in 2013. She is a former Superintendent of the Sandusky County Board of DD and previously served as the Director of Adult Services with the Lucas County Board of DD.
